Create colourful, textured and patterned textile-based jewellery using a variety of crafts, including weaving, sewing, coiled basketry, cordage, plaiting, beading, braiding etc. With these crafts we will make bracelets, pendants, hair clips, key fobs, rings, brooches, earrings, bookmarks, necklaces and/or mobiles and other small intricate items.
We will weave small squares and circles on small frame looms for pendants and brooches, braid strong lengths for bracelets and necklaces, sew and add beads for decoration. Metal findings will be provided to complete your pieces. It will be possible to make two or three items during the session, depending on your choices you may need to complete some of your jewellery at home.
